Tag As FavoriteComment		Detail of Glaurung & Turin. This  grew from a quick sketch into an absolute monster - I thought that I needed a few orcs to balance the picture, and then a few more and then the trolls turned up and then the warg, oh and a few more elves being led off to Angband.......I probably won't be doing quite so crowded a painting for a while or at least until my eyes stop bleeding.

Glaurung looks awesomely wicked. I was sure he was supposed to be black but then that could just have been the way I had him pictured.

I absolutely am in love with this picture!! I love Tolkien but am very picky when it comes to pictures. You pass my "pickyness" by far! You are an awesome artist! I love this picture, and the action in it is breathtaking! I am also an elfwood artist, i cant sign in though, not to mention upload many more pictures, that are by far better then the ones that I have on my page, but if you could just leave a comment of criticsm for me on my page with pointers I would totaly appreciate it! You are one of my favorite artists on elfwood! great job!
