I have moved to DeviantArt and no longer update this gallery. I am still active over at DeviantArt, so should you be interested in more (recent) of my stuff, please come visit over at http://mylittlejoy.deviantart.com/ (or click the "own gallery" button on the right).
Keep hands, feet and other limbs inside the vehicle at all times and do not feed the writers! The artists can occasionally be fed with special chocolate available over there *points at chocolate shop at the corner* Okay, here we go!
Still, we have to mention the basic things….or do we? Oh what the heck: I was born on 28th of August 1982, have two brothers and live in the Netherlands. I don’t live in Amsterdam, so skip that question. I always find it extremely funny when people assume that all Dutch people live in Amsterdam. Our country may be smaller than a fruit fly on the world map, but we do have more cities, people! Alright, my passions: Horses. I love horses, so that explains why there is so much equine art in my gallery. I have my own horse Joy, which comes very much in handy when it comes to anatomy. For pictures of Joy, take a look at my DA gallery, I can’t upload them here.*grins* Also, I love horror movies. Books also, but I don’t have that much time to read. Time, argh! I’m always in need of more time! For one, I would be able to sleep in longer *sighs*… And I would be able to spend more time drawing. But alas, there are only 24 hours in a day. I try to upload on a regular basis, but I am very busy with work/horse/friends, so I’m not always able to. Give me a poke and tell me to get uploading if I take too long. It might just work.
I’m sorry to say I can’t take any requests. I have little time as it is, and just can’t squeeze them in. Sorry. From time to time, I do accept art trades and commissions. E-mail me and I’ll see what I can do.
Please, when e-mailing me, mention Elfwood in the title. Just to prevent nasty-computer-virus-crashing-situations. Thanks
People I will take with me in my spaceship should the earth suddenly – but with enough time to get on the ship *grin* - explode or taken over by Intergalactical Space Goats
Henrik Larsson: The one I know the longest around here, so for surviving only he should deserve a seat. But just lurking in the shadows doesn’t get you on my ship! For one, he is a
brilliant writer. *note the absolute absence of sarcasm* He is one of the few writers that can make me read a story like I’m watching a movie. Just hurry over there and you’ll know what I mean. He has also been a great source of inspiration and a lot of fun, and I love him for that *quickly dodges Jess’ rapier that came out of nowhere* as a friend, dammit!
That brings us to our next passenger:
Jessica -The Piratess- Andreotti, Mistress of the Seven Seas and Scourge of the Spanish Main: she slices, she dices and has another 1001 ways to bring your pitiful lives to an interesting end. Reason why she is also included in the Beautiful and Deadly Trio. But she’s more than just a pretty face, mind you. Her stories are simply wonderful. Who else but her would think of the “Elfwoodian Tale”?
Mia Bengtsson aka Queen of the Universe is my partner in crime. Together we terrorize the woods and the writers in particular. Also a member of the Beautiful and Deadly Trio, and hopelessly gifted. Her art just makes you want to stick a straw in her brain and suck up all of her talent. *smiles* In a good way, of course. Oh, and you think I have a lot of horses around?
Dennis 'Invoker' Tabula: (Swedes are well represented…) What can I say, he’s just a kickbootey writer. He’s got me addicted to his Undead Journals, so if don’t bring him along, I’ll never know how it ends, now do I? And I like him, so here’s your boarding pass, Dennis! *hands it over* I don’t know if we’ll be able to fit in all of his Penguin Minions, though. *nudges Dennis* Can’t they go in cargo bay?
John E. Kelley: Creator of Zok, the Intergalactical Space Goat. I know, those are the creatures that are taking over the world in this theory, but I can’t leave him! And he is a good writer, too. Also, the founder of JK Logic Inc. can’t be left behind. And did I mention he is both writer and artist? *hugs John* He’s coming with us and that’s final!
J. Elizabeth Denton: the Faithful Minion of the Trio and member of my Spamming Squad (which is still growing vastly). You bet she has a seat reserved for her. I love her dark crazy sense of humor. Read her Mary had an electric little lamb to see what I mean.
Other artists that can catch a ride too for simply being brilliantAdele Sessler:If you haven’t stumbled on her name before you have either been living underground or a newbie. Her art…..her stories! Breathtaking, simply breathtaking.
Adella E. Johnson(is it a name thing?) I just love her style. Awesome work over there, take a look.
Oh, just one more final thought: steal my art and die. Slow and painfully. You can use my art on your computer for personal uses, but you can’t use it on your site or other purposes without my permission. Have a nice day!

| 3 Jun 2006 | Netherlands lover | Loading...Hey Stephanie. I know what you mean when people ask if you lived in Amsterdam of if the Netherlands is in Holland. (they're the same place, people!)I'm an American and I lived in NL for my 4th-6th grade years and I absolutely loved it! I lived in Oegstgeest, and when I went to camp, I got an award for the hardest-to-pronounce-hometown-name. Ha. My favorite thing to do was to walk around my neighborhood, and Leiden. Oh, Leiden. Absolutely amazing. I have no idea why I fell in love with it, but I did. I took Dutch for my language class, and I got to the intermediate level when I had to move back to the states, and I hope to someday learn it fluently. I am now in the 7th grade, and I REALLY want to go back and visit NL! I miss it so much! I'm not sure if this is right, but "goede werk op jouw kunst!"
