Awesome work! Makes me want to add color to some of my comics. I may never get things finished if I start that though. What scale do you work on when you do your original oils?

:-) Stefan Loå replies: "90*60 cm is a size I normally prefer for the comics. But it seems difficult to find a good publisher for this work... "

Finding a publisher may have something to do with the number of colors used. At least that was a factor at one time with printing agencies. Not sure what to tell you. Are you close to having your first issue done? I haven’t put enough of mine together to even think about publishing beyond the web.

:-) Stefan Loå replies: "Tuota noin niin... Normally you present 4-6 sequential pages of your work to various agencies, and they decide if they are interested. Finishing an entire issue before contacting them is not necessary. It seems you have finished more than 6 pages, so if you feel confident about your work you really could try to get a contract. But the competition is enormous, so you better be good. There is special agencies that put you in touch with publishers, but they charge 20-30% of what you get to do this job for you. I have the name of some famous american agencies somewhere at home.... Well, the people at conceptart.org know more than me.

(Yeah...The number of colors may be an issue. Plus high quality work requires high quality paper to print on, which can get expensive for the publishers. 1"
