This was again one of the images I suddenly had in my head and tried to put down. I dont remember exactly what inspired me, but yeah, I'm kinda proud of that angel, I think it's not too bad. I've found a mistake on her chin though, but oh well, I still like her.

pencils and watercolours. (2000)

*** exhibition at 'jugendart' in olten, may 2003

Does female angel exist? ;-) However, I like the way you posed and painted this angel. Do you also paint act portraits?

Yours sincerely

The Grandmaster

Actually i kinda feel u have a mistake in the anatomy of the arms... its kinda long in comparison to the legs... but other than that, i like the unique pose and adore the feathers~~~ Loves winged folks~~

21 Stephanie S. K. Marbach replies: "...you're completely right*g*2! it was my first (and only... *g*) angel i've ever drawn (i mean, besides when i was a kid n stuff... *g*) and when i got to the arms i actually had no clue what they looked like... so i just prolonged them into a pointy thing and added the wings... it's completely wrong but i just thought well she's just different... ;-) hehe. but i'm STILL not happy with the chin... *sigh*. thanks for your nice comment2!"

I'm able to see the angel's soul in her nudity.

13 Stephanie S. K. Marbach replies: "are you? hm, i'm not sure if a soul can be seen in nudity, but it's an interesting point. thanks for your comment2!"

Very, nice ... I like the soft way you coloured it.

2 Stephanie S. K. Marbach replies: "thank you2!!! i'm glad you like it2!"

What I really like about this one is that the feathers "grow" in her arms and that they continue all the way to the hands. I also like how the arms are kind of too long and that she doesn’t really have proper hands. I don’t know is it a mistake or done on purpose but it doesn’t matter, it’s lovely!2

:-) Stephanie S. K. Marbach replies: "really? hm, well actually i suddenly had no clue how to finish the arms bit so they just "ended" 2 hehe... it’s different and weird but it wasn’t planned, it just happened... i’m happy you like it though2!!! thanks so much for your lovely comment, ines2"

The wings are very beautiful!

:-) Stephanie S. K. Marbach replies: "thanks janna, that’s so nice to hear2!!! i still have no idea how i managed to do them... i was so proud when i got them like that2!!! "

Beautiful wings! You need to work on your anatomy though 2

:-) Stephanie S. K. Marbach replies: "thank you lena for your nice comment2! i was very happy with the wings, too2! do you mean the arms / hands with the anatomy or what exactly do you think i need to work on? i had realized about the chin part, that it turned out wicked, but the body itself i thought was very nice2"

Bit skinny around the waist if you ask me 12 (and shoulders/arms too maybe). The Legs are very well proportioned though - oh and did anyone mention the beautiful feathers yet? - ah, right, you did ...

:-) Stephanie S. K. Marbach replies: "yeah, you’re right, she could do some more bottom... but not on her arms2! thanks for the comment about the feathers2! make me so happy so many people like them2! never been able to do something like that again... i don’t know what it was about my earlier paintings that it just came out like that without thinking about it too much... i have to stop thinking... *g*2"
