  | Lady Adilya stands in the library with her fiancee Lord Dune. He invites her to stand atop the highest terrace overlooking the sea. She refuses and insteads decides to tell him everything she knows about him which includes murder and deceit. Adilya is gifted by the Goddess of Light while Dune is gifted by the God of Darkness. They are demigods, eventually to accend as Goddess of Life and God of Death. |
