"Lady Amoris Ayah Laydier" by Cate Baert Miller

 Princess Amoris Ayah Laydier is the missing sister of Prince Dune, the current ruler of Nateet.  Amoris had gone missing sometime after she witnessed her parents murders by her brother's evil magic.

A teenager in this portrait Lady Amoris is roughly sixteen years of age.  It can be found hanging in a hall of the Laydier Castle in Baene, Nateet.

When I painted this, I was imagining what it would be like for Lady Adilya if she was to wander around her fiancee's home.  She may infact come across an old painting of his missing sister and wonder who she is.  

I studied a lot of old paintings of queens from england.  I wanted to actually get a portrait that may look like it was painted a few hundred years ago.  This took hours and I am very very happy with the way it turned out.  I don't know, however if I would ever do another portrait in this style on the computer.  Next time I might as well paint it by hand. =3
