You know what's really ironic..... I'm sitting here at a computer in the folkert's kitchen.... and my life has changed DRASTICALLY since that visit a little over 2 years ago.... to the point that I barely have art or anything online at all & barely post to LJ even... And yet you are still here on good ole Elfwood and only a single word (your age) has changed in your bio in all that time. I guess you want to be socially inept and fearful of your flesh and locked in bondage to nervousness and the inability to speak and do what you want to do out of fear or desire for comfort... But I know I don't... and that's why I am here... and you are still there. I dunno. Just to think about the events that got us to these different places.. because I could've chosen to still be where you are, but I'm so glad I didn't. Cally G. Steussy replies: "*tilts eyebrow* To be honest, I haven't posted for a while. Other things have been demanding my attention. When I do post, I tend to ignore the bio - the pictures are what's important, not the information on me. Thank you for reminding me, though... one of these days, I probably should do a more complete update. Oh, and in case you've forgotten - the comment about terminal shyness is more in the nature of a joke and a way of saying that I have an introverted personality than anything else. As for the rest... if you genuinely ever thought that of me, then clearly you didn't know me half as well as I thought you did. *shrugs* To each their own... Goodbye, and I hope you're enjoying yourself, wherever you go. *bows*"
See, the thing is.... I used to be exactly where you are now in terms of all of that.... I know because we had union in that place and that's what our friendship was based on. But now I've realized how much slavery it actually is to not be able to speak freely or act freely but always have voices making me fear those things. I didn't "used to think" that... it's something I see now looking back at the places we have shared. Think about it the next time you want to do something, or say something, but can't because of pressure, fear, or nervousness. That's all I'm gonna ask you to do.

I love all you pics! There amazing! I love the stories that go along with them as well, it really adds to the pics. Well, keep it up.
You work at Mori no Ike? Anata no namae wa nan desu ka? Cally G. Steussy replies: "Watashi no namae wa 'Hikari' deshita keredomo, sore wa san-nen mae deshita kara, tabun shirimasen."My name (at Mori-no-Ike) was 'Hikari', but that was three years ago, so probably you don't know me.""
i just about had a heart attack when i saw your pictures of your hero and heroine from your story.....i too am writing a story....where a white haired blue eyed warrioress and her love, a man with long black hair and silver eyes, battle against a tyrant. i was looking for imagry to help with some descriptions as usual and i just balked at that picture of them half and half......email me if you like, sweety, i'd love to talk. I think it would be mutually benificial..... Waiting to hear from you, <80~
Ok, I looked at three of your pictures and was hooked. So I kept looking, and got even more hooked. I SOOOOOO wanna hear this story! It sounds so interesting.... I wanna hear about Resie! (Sorry bad, spelling.) Pleeeeeeease? And your artwork is a very neat syle, has some anime influence, but with a flair all it's own. *stares* I looks a little like what I'd like to draw for one of my characters, Shar Darkwing of the Hawk-People (sorry, haven't written that story down on Elfwood yet...) Keep up the wonderful drawings and the intriguing story!
