Steve Doyle

Steve is a writer.

I like to collaborate with photographers and visual artists to combine my poetry with their work and enter shows. Sometimes I'll write something to go with a drawing or photo, sometimes a visual artist will want to illustrate something I've written. Feel free to do that, just share your work with me, too. I have also done commissioned works for people to give as gifts for birthdays, anniversaries, etc. Once a poem is matted and framed it usually makes a good presentation, especially when paired up with visual artwork. I have actually won awards at art shows for such work. I have had one poem published in an anthology and intend at some point to produce a couple of my own books.

“If you would not be forgotten as soon as you are dead & rotten, either write things worth reading, or do things worth the writing.”
—Benjamin Franklin

Do you have any artists on Elfwood who have drawn an illustration for one of your poems, stories. I would love to check them out. If not, I draw a little and wouldn't be opposed to try my hand at one. Permission granted of course.

Love your stuff!!!

Wow, amazing. I've spent around an hour reading all your stuff, and I've got to say..Are you professional? If not, ever thought about it?You really should, because I don't think I have read such good writing on the internet in a long time.

I was just dusting off my shelf, and decided to wander around my old friends' shelves to see what I've been missing. It seems, however, that you've been a bit dormant yourself. You have always been faithful in letting me know when you have an update, and I hope you'll continue if you update around here again.

Have I been here and commented anything? I don't think I have but my memory sucks. Well, as soon as I've found something about implemented EASs and EIAs, I'll be around! 1

Wow, these are some great stories. The whole reason I setup an account was so I could tag you. Yay! An Irish tale is my fav so far, but I have a lot to read yet. Thanks for making a dreary morning better!
