I like how the colors or rather the elements fade into each other and then ~Wam~ You've got that blue sphere. The fact that you put this picture in space was a nice touch. Great Job with this piece. Keep up the great work. Steven P. Love replies: "Thanks for the return visit.;-) The colors are suppose to represent the Doppler Shift. If you studied Astronomy or Physics you'll already know what that is. But just in case you don't the Star is blue because it's suppose to be close while the flames swirling around the Black Hole are further away. I'm sort of a sci-fi nut so more will be on the way. And don't forget to check out my stories and fan art."
| 25 Feb 2006 | Chelsea Pizio | Loading...good luck trying to survive that living in that house Steven P. Love replies: "Thanks for visiting Chelsea. Actually my original version did not have the house. I put the house there as an extra sci-fi element so that it would be approved for Elfwood. " | |

| 2 Jul 2007 | John R Farley Jr | Loading...This is a very cool picture, since black holes are one of my favorite celestial objects. I've studied them exstensively when I wrote a story concerning one and it's interesting what you find out about. Small black holes, supermassive black holes, and check out the Circinus Galaxy. Steven P. Love replies: "Thank you. One new theory I've read states that it is possible to escape a Black Hole by using Quantum Tunneling to travel faster than light. But it's only a theory." | |
| 27 Jul 2008 | Dave Cripps | Loading...I like the ...*ahem*... observatory
Based on the lovely Cygnus X-1? A source of X rays as the hapless little star is ripped apart. Steven P. Love replies: "Thanks for commenting Dave.
It wasn’t based on any particular known Black Hole, but I was inspired by this documentary I saw called "Black Holes; The Ultimate Abyss"."
