I was inspired by a documentary about early pioneers who tried to settle the frozen wastelands of the Arctic. My idea was to depict a future pioneer trying to settle the frozen moon of Neptune called Triton. This moon's temperature is a very chilly 300*F below zero. That's so cold that its atmosphere is frozen on its surface as Nitrogen and Oxygen snow. There's even some Methane ice. You can't get more wintery than that.

1 Steven P. Love replies: "Thanks for stopping by. Elfwood Artist Richard Patton told me that I should copyright my "Photo Sculpting" technique but I think it should be shared. I'd be happy to give anybody that asks pointers on how to manipulate photos like I do. But it is very time consuming if you want to do it right. This picture took me 40 hours to complete working on it about 2 to 3 hours per day."
