| 9 Dec 2004 | Anneke Hut | Hey it's here! Congratulations with your great new gallery, Steve! Steven P. Love replies: "Thanks Anneke. I'm just glad that the Mods finally got to it. I was beginning to worry that they might have forgotten about me. Hey, do you mind if I put a link on my personal gallery to your Garden site? I don't think it's allowed on Elfwood." | |
| 10 Dec 2004 | Deike ´Luzilla´ Pintat | hi Steve! it's great that your fan art is finally up! though I already know most of these pictures, I still like looking at them, and they keep impressing me, especially the oil and airbrush paintings. Greetings! ^_^ Steven P. Love replies: "Praise from fellow artists is always welcome. I'm actually surprised at all the good comments I've gotten so far since this is my first return to doing art actively in over 20 years. Thanks for visiting, Deike." | |
| 10 Dec 2004 | Chelsea Pizio | Yay!! Fan art!! I like Aliens too!! Weeeee!! Steven P. Love replies: "Thanks for stopping by. I know that it was a long wait. Just to let you know, Anneke Hut, whom has also commented in both of my galleries, had invited me to her Garden. Most of the works here and a few from my sci-fi gallery are currently in Art Duels at her site. The URL for Anneke's Garden is www.broenink-art.nl/ , Go to the Duels and you can vote on who you think the best artist is. If you like my work make sure that you vote for it. " | |
| 11 Dec 2004 | Anneke Hut | Strange, I was almost sure, I had put a comment here. Must have forgotten to hit the submit button? Anyway, it's great if you put a link to the Garden on your Homepage. You can also put it in the bio of your Elfwood gallery. ArtDuel can use some advertising, there are still many duels open. You can find a button on the mainpage of the Garden, if you'd like to use it. Steven P. Love replies: "Yeah, I know how it goes when you write a specific comment and try to submit it and end up clicking the wrong button. When you realize the mistake it's too late and you have to start over again. Anyways, thanks for informing me about the links. I'll set them up as soon as I can." | |
| 12 Dec 2004 | James 'Jimbo Fett ' Inwood | Nice gallery! Have you ever considered doing Predators? Steven P. Love replies: "I do have the first Predator movie on VHS. Maybe I'll fire up the VCR and see if there's any good scenes that I can put on pause and take a close look at for inspiration. I'll let you know if I decide to do anything." | |
| 19 Dec 2004 | Lee Elizabeth Pike | Thanks for inviting me for your gallery. It's obvious how much you love Trance, and thankyou for introducing me to her. We don't have the show on mainstream television here in Australia. Your art is really great so keep up the passion! Steven P. Love replies: "Thanks for stopping by. I've been using the Google to search for all of the old comments I made before I joined Elfwood. I originally left over 200 comments spread out over a year before I got to your Butterfly Queen. If it wasn't for Deike Pintat rebutting my comment on your comments page I probably wouldn't be here right now. If you go back to my SCI-FI gallery you'll find a link to her gallery in the bio and you'll see how much we conversed. My last entry on her comments page was when I finally joined as an artist myself. Thanks again for your visit. And do stop by at least once every couple of weeks or so to check for updates. I've got two more that should be appearing in my SCI-FI gallery soon and I just submitted a new Trance picture yesterday." | |
| 31 Dec 2004 | Cecily ´SLWS´ Webster | Weird...I took a random jump and ended up here....Predators can be fun, sepecially in weird situations. Drew an albino one on my bio folder (yay for Tippex!) and the girl next to me called it 'Snowy', which I don't think it would have appreciated...anyway that led to a small cult among the class with the threat: SNOWY WILL EAT YOUR HEAD. WITHOUT A PLATE. Yes, biology can be dull sometimes. Steven P. Love replies: "I don't know how the computer chooses the next jump. Maybe it does the cyberspace equivalent of rolling dice."lol" I'm going to have to try it eventually. " | |
| 4 Feb 2005 | Sparkle | I didnt see this galery the first time i came here so i will check it out now. My friend asks if there wil be a lot of plants here like in your other galery Steven P. Love replies: "No plants in this one. This gallery is strictly for pics that are depictions of characters or scenes from existing TV shows, movies or video games." | |
| 6 Oct 2007 | Shelz Keast | Long time no visit. I bet you'll be glad they've upped the number of pictures allowed in the fanquarter. Anway just go season 1 & 2 of Stargate Atlantis so that coupled with holidays soon will equal a new batch of fan art. Hoefully will see some new stuff here too. Steven P. Love replies: "I did notice the increase in allowed fan art. For a while I thought that I was going to have to delete some old work to make room. I've got SG-Atlantis season 1 on DVD. Still waiting for season 2 to become available at the store I normally buy from. I am thinking of doing another Wraith portrait. Thanks for dropping buy." | |
