	A bit of experimentation with the background here. I like the sweep of the wings. A cerapter is a winged, horned equine. Many also know them as alicorns or unisi or various other bastardizations of 'unicorn' and 'pegasus'. 'Cerapter' is the Greek word for such a critter, so this is what I use. November 2002. Ink on sketch paper.

5 Feb 2006	Kate Frizzell	Loading... Cerapter... I have never heard that before. Another "proper" name for a winged unicorn is allicorn (not alicorn, which is the horn itself) or just "winged unicorn". I'd like to think now that allicorns have feather wings and cerapters have dragon wings. Is that okay with you?
