Based on a certain fellow of my acquaintance, Miguel. He likes cats and has a thing about fallen angels. While this one isn't fallen (as far as I can tell) he's closer to human than your average seraphim. :-)

I don't like being the bearer of bad news... wait, yes I do. Well, in this case, I will say it anyway, hopefully because criticism from me won't upset you too much, knowing that there is at least some good intention behind it 12 Criticism from you doesn't upset me at all! I need criticism to really improve, don't I? Don't highlight the parts of the body that recede in space more than you highlight those parts that do not, eg. the legs. I'm sure you realized this, but if you were wondering, that's why they look a bit uncomfortable. Indeed I was wondering, but I'm afraid I don't quite understand what you mean. And I recall you mused once upon a time how you could get your wings (that you draw, not growing out of your back) to look "cooler" (figuratively, of course) well at least in this case, it's a matter of feather dimensions. Notice the long, sharp tip feathers look "CooL" while the rounded pudgy feathers look, well, pudgy. 2 It's not really an issue here, since the rounded feathers fit the whole mood, but for future reference...Good idea; I always get caught up in making wings more "anatomically correct" than "CooL" so of course that does keep them from looking the way I want them to. I'll have to remember that next time. 1

he's so serene and sad, but at the same time its such a calming and gentle picture I can't help but wonder *why* he's sad. I like the colors, but the grass seems a bit bright for the tone of the whole picture. ah well, still loverly.

Well your angels are closer to "angel" than mine....all mine are punks. Yes, punk angels. I am just strange.
