	At John's urging, I've really been trying to draw more humans. Of course I still have my kirin obsession, but at least I'm branching out a little bit. This one even has a background. I intend to enter it in the graphite duel in Anneke's Garden. Yay for inspiration. March 2002. 2B mechanical pencil on Canson drawing paper.

1 Apr 2002	John (Hui) Li	Loading... This one turned out rather nice. You should consider either spot-inking it or using a 3B or darker pencil to add some darker lines/shading. You're definitely getting better with the people thing though, especially (apparently) people with horses. Erin Stevenson O'Connor replies: "I know, I've got a thing -- it's like (like like like), you tell me I shouldn't do something, and I have to do it. He, so I'll try darkening up the outline, fo' sho'."
2 Apr 2002	Jennifer Michelle Kerr	Loading... Is this the same scan as the one i tried to do? Cuz it looks damn good if it is, but i doubt that it is... Erin Stevenson O'Connor replies: "It actually is, yep! You can see the line down by the kirin's neck/chest. But ya know, reducing the file size to save it for web actually reduced that weird contrast between the two pieces."

7 Sep 2002	Dark	Loading... You know what the woman reminds me of? A Chinese Elf.. O.o Odd hey? But mayby its just because you are one of the few people who actually do something with a person's hair and put this one up in a bun, with flowers.. and the clothes too O.o I like it! And the Kirin.. or however you spell it - - (I can never spell it right - -) Looks chinese too.. because of the, for a loack of a better word, whiskers.. I like! x.x Keep it up! Youre a Magnificent artist!
