It never fails to amuse me.

If you are too much of a coward not to state your name instead of something like anyonomous or your mom, then you shouldn't comment at all! I love your picture Mark. Totally awesome! Mark Stijnman replies: "Thanks - I hadn't checked this page for quite a bit, and found all those posts with obnoxious language and such. I've just deleted them. I don't care much what people think about the drawing, everybody can have their opinion, but some language I don't tolerate, nor should this page be used for random spillings. Glad that at least some people come here to talk about the picture "

I think I've gotten better at my art since I last commented this picture. It's strange. I hope to have a gallery up soon. Then maybe you can check my stuff out too! Keep up the awesome work!
| 31 Aug 2006 | Gabrielle | Loading...Hey Mark!!! I fianally got my gallery! I'm so excited! I hope that you can come and visit some time. I drew a panda bear that your little mech guy kinda inspired. I was really bored and I was looking at your gallery and my cousin told me she wanted me to draw a bear and that's what I got! I would really appreciate it if you could come and comment and I could use all the help I can get. Well, here's the link! http://elfwood.lysator.liu.se/art/g/a/gabit/gabit.html
I hope you can come and visit sometime!!! Thank you so much!
| 16 Jun 2007 | Lupai-kin | Loading...I'm really impressed with how your spaceship and mech and other machine-type drawings fit together. I've tried to draw machines with very limited success; my brain doesn't appear to want to figure out how to put machines together so they could possibly work. Usually when I try, I end up with something way too smooth becasue I can't think of enough details to put in, so I cover the whole thing with rubber and claim it's a protective coat. Unsatisfactory on my part... But you! I bet you know how each and every gear inside your machines fit together. Congratulations. Mark Stijnman replies: "Nah, I too often get stuck if I try to think everything through such that it might actually work in real life. The trick is to just make it *appear* as if you have. Draw some hinges, maybe a few pistons, maybe a hose or two, and cover your machines with random paneling, and it will all look a lot more interesting. Just experiment and have fun " | |
| 24 Feb 2010 | Byron Reeves | Loading...Only problem I see is that the arms looks like they would have a very limited range of motion.,but I like the originiality of it, I don’t see many mech drawings wih so many curved shapes or of that design and specializing in rocket/missle weaponry. | |
