View of an alien landscape. On of my first experiments with acrylics. Nothing much to be told about it, really.

very atmospheric! I like the mood, especially with the planet visible behind the mountains the only thing that's wierd is the scale and perspective on the car. otherwise I like it

Very nice pic, but I was just woundering.... is there somebody in the water? Looks like someone is drowning and the guy is watching.

i don't think anyone's drowning - it looks like either a rock or maybe he's brought a domestic critter out to enjoy a swim or maybe his just watching a wild critter of some sort - this was the first immage i landed - i'm always attracted to the green of live vegitation and when tecnology is harmoniously integrated with it so much the better (and happier - the way they can enhance each other) - cars don't tread that lightly on the terrain - at least not when everybody's forced to rely on them so we build little people size trains instead of big paved roads on most of lananara - but we don't stop anyone from building a car-like vehicule for themselves for a hobby if they want to - we just don't subsidise a lot of the kins of roads earth is familiar with to drive them on - anyway i can see what looks like somesort of guideway based systems being supported here - or at least that's what the bridge looks like to me - anyway i think that guy just decided to come out to this peaceful spot to meditate - let his critter friend go for a swim - and basicaly enjoy the view ... ~12

Just for the record: nobody's drowning and there's nobody (or nothing) swimming either. The object in the water is supposed to be a rock, sort of belonging to the island in the river. But this is what I like about Elfwood: people see things in my images I wouldn't have thought about - this is a good thing! Keep those comments coming!

The colors go so well together. It really creates atmosphere to the pic. And that is all that matters.

Beautiful colours! This painting is has such vivid colours, and it's so blue and pretty - love the trees. Love to have somewhere like that. And congratulations on being artist of the day!

Very nice coloring..the water, trees, and mountains were done very well. The space ship thing wasn't bad either. I just had to see this one up close. ^_~

acrylics? You made it look soft and glowy like pastels... Mine always come out harder edged. I like the efect on this one. And the content is nice as well. The gas planet almost looks like it's emerging from the landscape, and the city in the distance looks very interesting and SFish... Looks like a story could be unfoldin on the shores of that alien lake.
