Tag As FavoriteComment		St. George is the patron saint of England, scouts, knights and cavalry, among others. Recently my brother graduated from the Royal Military Academy as an officer in the cavalry. That's why I decided to do this image of a somewhat modernised version of St. George an the Dragon, as a gift for this occasion. He seemed to like it, I hope you will too.

even if perhaps legendary,st.george is the most romantic of all saints: a ypung brave handsome cavalry officer-knight who defeats a dragon to save a beautiful princess, he should marry her but has to fulfill his task to go first to the emperor to defend his faith, where he is condemned to death and beheaded by the executioner’s axe dying a martyr
