Birthdays are cool - you can make a nice drawing as a gift for someone else, which I think is more fun than just drawing for the heck of it. And you need to finish the picture :) Sometimes I just need a deadline... Anyway, the picture was done for fellow dutch elfwood artist and friend Suzan Bongers (http://elfwood.lysator.liu.se/loth/s/u/suzan/suzan.html), also known as Muizenstaartje ('Mouse tail'). Needless to say this wasn't the only mouse-related gift she got...

I love those little mice. Yup, they're so cute, but I shouldn't forget that the whole background is great. Very real and detailed.
