| 8 May 2004 | LanFear | ^^ *??!?* you are serious? dang that was one of the most idiotic comments I've read. maybe he's not good at drawing, (I don't know yet, haven't checked the pics) but do you have to call him a fag for that? jesus christ dude, you have some serious problems if you call everyone you don't like fags. you must get your butt kicked every once a week for that. and, ppl who say things like that are almost always afraid of being homosexual themselves. you didn't know that? too bad, loser. go and dig yourself a hole and die, no one will miss you anyway.
To the artist: um, sorry. just comments like that tics me off at the maximum, so I just had to. It doesn't look like your pictures are bad, (still haven't checked), but there's always improvements to be made, and that goes for everyone! so just keep on drawing! *gives cookie*
| 24 May 2004 | Will | You know your drawings are very well done when you colored them, but it looks as if your slacking when doing a black and white be more patient and finish your work its rewarding in the end..... | |
| 12 Jun 2004 | Caligula | Congratulations! You are the worlds gayest man. | |
| 26 Aug 2004 | Tommy Breece, Tech Representative | No, I'm the gayest! | |
| 6 Dec 2004 | Zaikov | Apparently some people think having a penis and being attracted exclusively to women is essential for good drawing.
Great.
Okay on the pics: warhammer is great! But you should really draw a lot more. I'm sure you'll get better that way; just keep on doing it.
Cheers. | |
| 20 Dec 2004 | Anonymous | I applaude Thomas for being proud and open about his homosexuality. Good for him. | |
| 31 Jan 2005 | Padreac | You are great when it comes to doing anything on the computer but frankly your hand work needs work, i would probably suggest to stick with the digital art and to keep your sketches in your own private gallary | |
| 18 May 2006 | Matthew A | Blood for the Blood god! | |
| 18 Jun 2006 | Robey | Great to see more Warhammer art, but a couple of points before I mention your drawing: (1) Posting minis - photoshopped or not - is not really what this site is about: got to www.coolminiornot.com for that sort of thing; (2) Warhammer art has a place in a distinct universe (IP of Games Workshop), so is technically fan art and should be in the appropriate gallery.
Anyway, enough finger pointing. Practice, practice practice! I recommend looking at photos in magazines and suchlike, and doing some figure studies to learn how the human muscle structure works and how light falls naturally. A good tip is to take pictures like these and "fantasize" them: i.e. add some funky armour, a sword or some bionics (if you're into 40K). But if you like drawing, keep going and never stop: every line makes you better than you were before.
| 29 Mar 2008 | Karen | Click here to write something! In response to Bj Ferry: This world needs more gentle and artistic people. You are not one of them. Everyone has a talent and most of us have shotcomings. I think you should work on your many shortcomings because it does not take talent to be a horrible nasty person, which I hope you will one day be able to fix about yourself. You have a lot to learn about life. I truly feel sorry for you and your kind of hatred toward other people. Get some help before you do something really stupid. | |
