| 1 Mar 2004 |  Michael Philip Davies | Loading... There will soon be a major overhaul within this gallery, for those of you out there who actually do check this every now and then.
I know I promised the aforementioned overhaul previously, but as luck would have it, the time when I had gotten around to doing it was when Elfwood decided to merge the fantasy and sci fi galleries and I had to wait.
On that note, my hats off to the Elfwood crew, I think that the new look is very spiffy, even if the sheer number of thumbnails can now look somewhat daunting! | |

Hi, I looked at your art and a really think what you've got there is talent, it's a cuestion of time and practice(by personal experience it really works, I mean after 11 years one has to improve *grins*), keep going on !!! I a thing you could focus on when you draw is to look out for proportions, use guidelines, etc. you'll see how much the art improves (personal experience too *grins*). I've had the knack for animes too for about 2 years and after seeing your art I see I'm not that way behind ...  . I'll come and visit now and then to see you progress. It is possible to judge from mr davies's conceptual/fantasy art that he is fairly competent in his chosen field,gifted is a term i would avoid using at the moment as his skill is good but still in the embryonic stage of development.It can also be construed from the form and lines of his depicted characters that the fledgling artist has an ego in total disproportion with the general quality of the artwork shown, but one day a state of equilibrium may be reached. | |
