Jan 8 2008 - Finally got the artwork up on a second page and got everything in its place.  I also  have fixed a few things in The Last.

I am currently a senior attending Arizona State University Polytechnic Campus to obtain a degree in Graphic Information Technology (GIT).  I occasionally feels right-brained enough to draw something decent, but most of my creativity shows itself in written stories and graphic design.

Interests
Spinning (yes like with a spinning wheel), sewing, drawing, writing, surfing the net, playing WoW, reading, talking, hanging out with friends, doing creative stuff in Photoshop... did I miss anything? Oh yea, website design.
Favorite Fantasy/Scifi Movies and TV Shows

Transformers, Wall-e, and Dark Knight top the list right now.

Lord of the Rings (LotR), Pirates of the Caribbean, Moulin Rouge, Phantom of the Opera, Hairspray, Happy Feet. Those are some from the giant list I have, but as for genre, I like action, comedy, & fantasy... I'll try anything once, but horror is usually at the bottom of the list.

TV Shows? CSI (and any form thereof), Star Trek Voyager, Scrubs, House, Grey's Anatomy, Red vs. Blue, Charmed, Dr. Who, Futurama, Family Guy, Eureka, Stargate SG1 & Atlantis

Favorite Fantasy/Scifi Books
R.A. Salvatore's Drizzt Series, and his Cleric quintet; Elaine Cunningham's "Daughter of the Drow" series; Robert Jordan's "Wheel of Time" series; Anything by Mercedes Lacky; Almost anything by Clive Cussler; "The Deed of Paksenarion" by Elizabeth Moon; "Eragon" and the following books... I could go on and on. I like to read. :P I more have favorite authors than specific books - R.A. Salvatore, Mercedes Lackey, and Elizabeth Moon inspired me to write.
Favorite Music
I'll listen to anything once, but I don't like rap or really heavy metal. I mostly listen to Celtic, soft rock, and movie tracks. It also completely depends on my mood... I listen to techno when I'm working out or studying.

Hello and welcome to Elfwood! I hope you enjoy it here as much as I do. Just a friendly tip: a great way to get lots of comments on your page is to leave a trail of comments as you browse Elfwood. I won’t be surprised if you don’t have a lot of time for that though. You gotta respect people who go into an IT-related field, if only because it’s not for lazy people.

Claire, I really like what you’ve written here. I think your descriptions seem to keep a big book-worm like me interested. Some of these short paragraphs could blossom into terrific stories. I like all that you’ve done! By far, my FAVORITE would be "The Last!" 3 I know you said that that was written to describe a picture you drew, but you need to write more of that! It would make an outstanding story!
Keep writing! I can’t wait to read more of your stuff!

I’ve got some more of this stuff (longer), I just haven’t gotten to getting it in a format that I can upload to Elfwood yet. And believe me, the ones I want to make longer are all tied together in my head, I just haven’t written it down yet. Ria’s little "blurb" is going to become something of an intro into a much bigger world where some of my other stories take place.
