I'm not kidding you - I drew dragons like that one to the left a year ago! Having just finished Sh'rkalén, I realized my art has taken its greatest leap in my art history. Looking up on my old art-thread on PS-f, a Norwegian creativity forum, I found this verrry true!

It's weird, actually, to think I've drawn like that and not seen all the wrong proportions and all the other mistakes, but then, wisdom comes with time.

Just wanted you to see this - I hope I'm not boasting or offending anyone when I say that if I can improve so drastically, form that bad to that good, in a year, well, then it's hope for everybody!

4 Jun 2008	Alyssium	Loading... What an improvement! It’s amazing what a year can do, even if it doesn’t seem like you’ve sat down and drawn a lot. Just the other day I was flipping through one of my old sketch books, and comparing an older gryphon to a newer one I had drawn. I couldn’t help but say: "Dear Lord, I drew that monstrosity?!" And the sad thing was, both myself and my friends thought it was good at the time XD Keep up the good work. You can only get better Mie 'Stormwing' Bendiksby replies: "Thanks! Yeah, that’s strange! I thought the left dragon was equal to da Vinci back then xD Thanks, yeah, I sure will!"

6 Aug 2008	Winnie Spence	Loading... Woah! If you keep this up you’ll be blummin’ incredible in April 2009! I’ve also changed the way I do my dragons (Hopefully for the best!) I was flicking through my school homework diary and saw the first dragon doodles were the weird little square dragons with NO muscle work at all and then the later dragons were a little smoother and a completly different style! I hope I can improve this year like you did last year! By the way, I really do like that dragon on the right! So much detail! Mie 'Stormwing' Bendiksby replies: "Thanks!
