House of my Mind

There’s a path to the door,

That leads to the hall,

Of never ending walls,

And eternal meaning.

With the light that I give,

And the guide from within,

The doors will all open,

And the house of my mind will be there.

In the world of the damned,

And the hell that proceeds,

With the walls all around me,

I can never see what I think.

And the fire surrounds me,

And the path falls away from me,

I will find my sanctuary,

In the house of my mind.

When I see you all there,

Looking lost and alone,

I will take you and guide you,

To the path that you seek.

But is the path that you seek,

The right path for you?

The path that you need?

To the house of my mind?

There’s a spark in my eye,

All that keeps me alive,

And if you take that spark,

I will fall for eternity.

And the wings of my soul,

Will not break my fall,

The only thing to save me,

Will be the house of my mind.

But when the dynamite comes,

To take away my mind,

I will never give up,

And never give in to the force.

Of the never ending hell,

And the fire of others,

Of their eternal hate,

At the house of my mind.

For it will ever stand tall,

Beyond any mortal form,

Will make ripples through time,

And open more doors.

So that you may see within,

In the depths you will find,

The houses of your minds.
