Just finished this picture. It certainly wasn't planned. I was just being bored, doodling at a Groupboard, and the rough sketch of this guy appeared. From hand to monitor, without the brain being particularly involved. I kinda liked the concept, though, so I copied it to Photopaint and cleaned it up. And colored him.

Don't ask me what he is; I don't have a clue. Not a demon, though. Not a fairy either. He said his name was Grurü. I guess that's what he is. Himself.
Don't let his baleful glare discourage you - he's really a rather benevolent creature. I think. I'm fairly sure... But perhaps you shouldn't chance it. Just in case..

HE's cute, in a morbid sort of way...I think he just needs a hug...

I like the colours in this one, as well as the lighting and the pose and...oh heck, I LOVE IT!!

Okay if you will believe me this is a true story.

Several months ago I was thinking about some weird stuff and an idea for a creature that was almost like a human with frog like skin and web fingers and toes popped into my head. I wrote down and entire description and habitat for this creature. Oddly enough THIS is EXACTLY how I immagined this creature to look like.

The texture on his wings is gorgeous! Nice choice. And I love his horns, they're so long- with that perfect curve to them. A strange and lovely little fellow.

I love this one! The wings are awesome and so are the horns, I love the angle and the way he's looking back at you. Oh and I also love the colours youve used, Im not sure why but I thought he was under water when I first saw him! Anyway you have a lot of talent so keep drawing!!

He's delightfully unique--especially those wings being a combination of a butterfly's and bones. I like those horns, too. Great job!
