| 28 Aug 2003 | Hellen JoAnn Ferguson | Loading...OOH! This is great! I like this. Seldom does one get to see what the artist had to work with, and how it progressed to be the end result. Art is a journey. Thanks for showing the beginning *Hellen who loves to see sketches * You gotta love Photoshop Oh, How many layers did you have? Just curious. Roberta Stroud Vaughan replies: "How many layer? I'll have to have a look. The mushroom, the leaves, moss, rock, ground, the tree, ferns, fairy, wings, the fairy's hair, butterfly, stick, the uum..goop on her face and on the stick... 14? The reason I picked up each individual piece of my scan was because I wanted to keep it all so that if I made any mistakes on any details, it wouldn't effect anything else. I knew I'd be cutting it close to the contest deadline.I have all the stages up to partway though the fairy because I was going to do a tutoral on it, but I quit with that thought and concentrated on just finishing it in time... which I didn't quite manage, but turned it in anyway...lol" | |
