Anyway...! This is a gorgeous picture, the style is excellent, Andromeda looks wonderful, and i love narcissa's expression. The detail in the background is great too.

I think you're completely right about the statement Narcissa should be older than Bellatrix (but not necessarily, I would add). The trouble is that, considering the age of her daughter, Andromeda must be the eldest. I mean - well - Narcissa might have given birth to her son at eighteen, but could Andromeda have a baby when she was fourteen, as it seems from the family tree? Technically possible, but SO unlikely.

Lovely picture^^, I have done a lot of research on the subject, and a majority of people believe that Andromeda is the oldest, as she dropped out of school to marry Mr. Tonks, and had Nymphadora, and then Bellatrix, and then Narcissa was the baby of the family, even though Lucius was a lot older, I don't think that the pureblood wizarding families cared too much about age as they are very old fashioned. However, at the same time it also mainly refers to Bellatrix as Bellatrix /Lestrange/ and not Black, when she is friends with Snape, so you never know..sheesh I wish they would have an extensive family tree so that those of us who rp and draw them would be able to do it correctly! xD, once again, LOVELY picture^^

Well, I always thougth it was Andromeda, then Bellatrix, then Narcissa, but I figured that Narcissa and Bellatrix were close to the same age. Yeah, Lucius is old...I always figured that since the Blacks declared temselves "Noble and Most Ancient" that they'd have rather middle age beliefs, and girls not only got married young in earlier times, their husbands were much older than them. So I don't think Mrs. Black would care if some old guy slept with her daughter as long as he was rich, charming adn a pureblood. Poor Narcissa. and yes, Bellatrix is the most messed up one, but Narcissa is not far behind. She may not be a Death Eater, but I think that's because she has a son to raise, and anyway, she's so elegant that I doubt she'd ruin her reputation with a silly Dark Lord. Draco practically said that his parents, not just his dad, were out torturing muggleborns, so Narcissa's terrible too. Bellatrix is just more rebellious. But N looks just as I'd imagine her in this picture, and Andromeda too, although I don't think Bellatrix would have braided her hair.

Ooh - that is an amazing picture of Narcissa. I can't imagine the others that way when they were younger, but Narcissa is perfect. Great job!

you probably have figured this out already now when the black family tree has been published at hp lexicon, but bella was oldest followed by andro and cissa. I think they were born 51, 53 and 55...Im pretty sure there was two years between all of them.

Well, since the Black Family Tree gives Bellatrix as the oldest (according to hp-lexicon.com, she was born in 1951), I prefer to follow JKR's directions. Andromeda was probably born in 1953 and Narcissa was the baby of the family, as she was born in 1955. The picture is very nice! Keep up the good work!

Hey, this is really good, but I think they're a little disproportionate... Also, the ages: Bellatrix is the eldest, followed by Andromeda, and Narcissa is actually the youngest. fact.
