The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe is the first book in C.S.Lewis's masterful Chronicles of Narnia.

NOTE: If your only comment on this picture is to tell me this is not the first book, don't bother. You only display your ignorance. For the last time: The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe was written FIRST, published FIRST, and until 1994 it was the FIRST book in the series. Only after HarperCollins began publishing the series did it get rearranged into the order used today. Since I am most familiar with the old order, I arranged them that way. If you prefer it the new way, fine, but don't assume I don't know what I'm talking about. Sorry to sound miffed about this, but the constant harping on this detail is getting annoying.

Wow!It's so perfect.The witch is just like I always pictured her.And I am glad someone else knows that the Lion,the Witch and the Wardrobe is the first book.None of my friends believe me when I tell them that.I have always read them in the order they were written.

Haha...I've had the same problem with the whole book order. I've got an old set, and I like the order it began with.

Beautiful cover picture! I like the contrast; on the one side, white and cold and wintery, like the witch, and on the other, the glow of Aslan and green trees like in spring or summer. Nicely done~

Nice. I’ve always read the books in the order they were written and I like it that way. So, I would also call this the first book.

Now this is good. I love the icy, cruel expression on her face. Just a stony expression. And then, I don’t know if you meant to, but the lion’s mouth is stretched so that he’s smiling a little bit.

"I’ve got this all under control," is the expression there.
