"The Opportunist - new version" by Dawn D Davidson

From The Book of Three, first in Lloyd Alexander's Chronicles of Prydain. While Dallben snoozes...er, meditates, Taran takes the opportunity to try to sneak a peek inside the Book of Three. He doesn't know the book is protected by magic, and his nosy little mitts are going to be burned when he touches it.

I've been wanting to update this pic for a while.  The original version, as my first mod's choice, has sentimental value, and it's also on a couple of tours that I wouldn't want to mess up, but it also serves as a good example of how my work has grown and improved over the past couple of years, so I don't plan to take it down. This new one is a combo of Painter and Photoshop, and now, to my organization-obsessive mind, takes its proper place at the beginning of my Prydain series. Yay.
