Now I'm here to check out your work...hee hee. Glad I have found a fellow lover of Philip Pullman and someone who has also given up writing comedy into their stories! Well, onto leafing through your stuff! Russell Franklin replies: "Yeah! Philip Pullman, King of fantasy! Thanks for stopping by.Good to know the skilled take intrest in the noobs " | |
| 18 Sep 2005 | Erin E. Johnston | Some neat stuff here!! At least you have a story going. Mine is just a bunch of little ideas floating around in my head. I'm not the litterary type *sighs*. Keep drawing! Oh, and thanks for stopping by my gallery. Russell Franklin replies: "just realised that all my replies will be emailed to you so I'll stop that after this one. Thanks for your cool comments, good to have such a awesome guest. Love your gallery!" | |
| 20 Sep 2005 | Karen Louise Westrop | Hi ya. Great gallery! I love the wings on the sorrow piece. I find wings really hard to draw. Keep up the great work! X x Russell Franklin replies: "Thanks for stopping by. Wings are a real pain but well worth the effort. It's not really about skill, you just have to spend aaaages on them =)" | |

| 28 Oct 2005 | Karen May | Hi Russell, just thought I'd pop over and have a look at your gallery. I have to say that your piece called 'When Limitations Fall Away' is really refreshing and honest. The colours and shapes create a really fun and inviting atmosphere, perfect for story illustration. I just love the little dog in the corner. Maybe the title is a big clue! I'd love to see you explore whatever's in your head rather than trying to create a specific identifiable image. If you get a chance, try some more abstract stuff, it seems to free you up a bit. Then again, I might be getting it all wrong, I often do. Keep at it! | |
