Here is my regretabbly unfinished Pegasus. I was drawing this when I wrote the poem, which I recommend you read right now. (You wont be disapointed, and it won't take up too much time ; )
Unfortunately my dog chewed up one of my referance wings.. Now I'll just have to make the rest up... The horse is a bronze statuette I got for my birthday a while ago, and I realise I have no excuse for not finishing that, atleast...
They are the wings of a tern, btw.

hey! I went to go read your poem, and found my comment already there! I can barely remember reading it. Um, the drawing. Very good, VERY nice detail on the wing. But you SHOULD have finished it. Well, in the future, you will. Yes, I can tell the future. Don't ask.

:-) Frances Gibbs replies: "lol. You should have commented again! Maybe you're right......................... maybe I just will finish it.......... "

:-) Frances Gibbs replies: "Thank you! I'm glad you liked it!"

I love the wings because they are rather literally 'of bird' and more importantly because they are on a scale that actually could lift a horse off the ground (if the whole animal was more on bird scale than horse scale).

:-) Frances Gibbs replies: "Thanks! I made sure the wings were big enough "

I love the wing, however it doesn't seem to attach or fit correctly. Perhaps the drawing just needs to be completed...well done 2 <')__~~
< // <----that would be my version of a running horse.....

references! good idea! I'm about to go read the poem, got distracted by the link. ^^; The wings seem a little big for practical ground walking, though, especially since they are so realistic. Very nice rendition, though!

12 Frances Gibbs replies: "heheh. The wings may seem a little big, but when you think of how heavy the horse probably is.. we're thinking logically here! lol"

Very good, highly detailed work for the feathers! Very very nice poem too!

12 Frances Gibbs replies: "Thank you! Another one of the old drawings that will never be finished.. lol. I would sooner start one like this over again than try to go back to my old style of drawing! "
