You have some cute fairies in your gallery, I like the one you coloured in the most. I prefer the stuff that you did by hand, I hardly ever draw on the computer, because mouse is not very manageble, but I colour things in from time to time. Now, your pencil drawing scans, they are suffering from all the computer stuff you pasted on them, it diminishes them rather than adds. Also I'd try to darkness/contrast tool to get them more sharp, darker and less fuzzy. A little 'sharpening' may also help.
You keep drawing, and don't spend so much time on computer games. Instead try to experiment with new shapes and poses, shading and colour. Don't be afraid to draw things from real life, even if they don't come out that good at first. It is my experience that people learn something from every single drawing they make. This means the more you draw the better. Give some thought also to background - get some nice landscape pictures and try to copy them in pencil, it'll provide your memory with the basic things a background can be.
Good luck, and keep drawing! | |
