| 28 Oct 2006 | Best Apartment-mate ever | Everyone please do be jealous because I live with the amazing and the most wonderful E.'erroneous'Szydloski. I know she is the best, if you think she's cool online and has the best stories then you should really know her in person because the stories are even better, and soooo much cooler. Lover you best apartment-mate ever. P.S. I also love the pumpkin bread, the only reason why I am living with you. P.P.S. We get home made apple pie from our other best apartment-mate ever. Yay. E. ´Erroneous´ Szydloski replies: "lol, Jess, you are the best apartment-mate evar! Thank you for posting my 501st comment!" | |
| 8 Nov 2006 | Best Apartment-mate ever | Hey again, best apartment-mate ever. I'm suppose to be writing a paper for Cooper, but I thought Erin deserves a comment, so instead I am writing to you. I an soo happy to hear about your Dad being able to come back early, and I'm sure your soo much more happy about it then I am. So because I am procrastinating I will probably not see you until tomorrow, because I have to write Cooper's paper. But I love you and we need more pie. P.S. Gustoph made the apartment smell like rotting pumpkin. E. ´Erroneous´ Szydloski replies: "We never did find any of Gustav behind the couch. Why on earth did his smell linger so long?" | |
| 10 Nov 2006 | Brandy Overby | Hi i actually have stuff up now lol i too am hopeing to get something published there's just a few problems in that. I'v got writers block and can't finish it it seems. and also...i have the spelling capibilities of a forth grader. grammer too lol but... if you still want to check it out then ya can now. (fixing to start reading twf for the third time) I love Breadon and Andy lol anyway i really hope that you have one of those brain storms ya know the kind were it's like you get hit by lightning and the words just start comming out lol i like those... they just never seem to last long enough anyway thanks for taking the time to read this E. ´Erroneous´ Szydloski replies: "My semester finally ended, so I should have time for reading and writing. I've read one of your pieces, and I intend to check out some more." | |
| 7 Dec 2006 | Anja de Lange | I have no idea why but my computer seems to have built up a resistance to leaving comments! If this actually gets posted I'm really sorry I can't leave other comments! You write very well and should really try to get white flame published! Good Luck! E. ´Erroneous´ Szydloski replies: "Thanks so much for all of your reading and commenting and encouragement! I really appreciate it. " | |
| 24 Jan 2007 | Brandy Overby | you know what lol your story came in handy today i was babysetting and the little buddy wouldn't go to sleep. I remembered one of the songs from your story and it saved me from loseing my last nerve cause it put him right to sleep lol hope ya don't mind E. ´Erroneous´ Szydloski replies: "This is possibly the best comment I've ever received! I'm so flattered that you (a) remembered one of my songs and (b) actually sang it to a child! And I'm certainly glad to hear that it helped you out. " | |
| 15 Mar 2007 | Lacey Wright | HELLO, MY DEAR. Guh. It's been so long since I commented on your page. Like, like...two years. SO HELLO. *stares in dismay/delight at all the catching up she has to do* EEEEEEE REVOLUTION NEW CHAPTERS TO ATTACK. E. ´Erroneous´ Szydloski replies: "It's so good to see you (well, your comment... you know what I mean) again! It makes me nostalgic for the days back when I was writing TWF. I must get back into the habit of hanging around the Wood. And of updating." | |
| 23 May 2007 | Brandy Overby | Hi. I was just curious as to how much of twf you have edited so far. and if it's just been like gramer errors you've changed or if you've changed anything completely. E. ´Erroneous´ Szydloski replies: "Thanks for asking! It's nice to know people haven't forgotten about TWF. I've edited about a quarter of it, although that amount may be deceptive. A lot of work had to go into solidifying the background information for the characters and their world, their religion, and their calendar before I could start attacking the manuscript itself. It's definitely more than just grammar errors I've been changing. I can't think of any big plot changes off the top of my head. Mostly it's been adding things and making the point of view of the writing consistent (so that each scene is told from only one character's perspective, though still in third person). Andellyn is a little less naive, but she also shows the side-effects of her socially stunted upbringing more. I've done a little bit of clarifying and fleshing-out with all of the characters, I think. But no worries, they're still recognizably the same people. I've been meaning to make a decision about something to cut from my gallery (since I've reached my 50 story maximum) so I can put up a snippit for my faithful readers to enjoy." | |
| 25 Feb 2008 | Tina | Hey, hows it going? It’s been a long time since I’ve checked out your site. I’m still writing and loving it. I want to thank you for all the advise you gave me when I was first starting out. You really helped me build a foundation for my writing in the early stage. How are you fairing in editing TWF? E. ´Erroneous´ Szydloski replies: "Tina! You are so very welcome. I always enjoyed your emails. The editing has been going in spurts, which has been bad for productivity, because I keep having to look up things that I decided in previous editing sessions and other such tedious things. However, I do really want to push and try to get to the end of the draft this summer, because I start graduate school near the end of September. Drop me a line (I’ve changed emails since the last time we were in email contact, I believe, but the Elfwood page has a current address for me). I’d love to hear about what you’ve been writing these days, and I’ll tell you more about editing TWF." | |
| 9 Mar 2008 | Emerald | So how’s everything going with TWF, i remember you said you were doing some editing a while back and were eventually going to try to write a sequil, which i would greatly look forward too. E. ´Erroneous´ Szydloski replies: "Thanks for stopping by and asking! Things have been a little slow, but I’m determined to get some good editing done this summer and hopefully finish the draft I’m on." | |
