"Daughter of the Early Sky" by T. ´tabemasu´ Chan

Ah- nothing cures a bout of creative constipation than a good workout with some soft pastels.

I was in on eof those moods where you HAvE ti draw or you might explode- but every time you do it turns out crap-like. And also when you really need to let yourself go psycho. That was the mother of this picture.
She grew on the floor infront of my heater- the base sketch with my pacer originally a male elf (yup) to this.

I really love pastels because their colour is alwasy so rich no matter how you apply it- and i love rich, thick stuff when you're drawing or painting. I let myself go crazy with the colour- and im really glad of how the lighting turned out- it was a bit of a risk- going crazy- but it cured me for a time and i really like it.
The weird bumps in the black over her shoulds was originally mountains- but i mushed it into her dress.
