14" x 11" original acrylic painting. unfortunately the scan came out a little dark and picked up too much canvas texture.

hi there, love your work great execution of your themes. i was wandering, as i use Acrylics aswell, how do you get a good photo of your work without glare etc.

Thanks alot much appreciated 2

:-) Tabitha Lynn Ladin replies: "I usually scan my paintings, not photograph them. The ones that are too large to fit on my home scanner I take to a local place that does large format printing and scanning. I generally do not varnish them so they stay fairly matt and scan well but this one I did varnish and so it is glossy and consequently it did not scan well. I will eventually have to photograph it."

Oh! This must be the story of W. Irving. I say, nice painting! It’s very dramatic and I can definitely feel the spookiness! Canvas paintings are magnificent! In other words: it totally rocks! 7 1

Love the title. Was it an intended pun? It’s spooky and creepy, but I somehow find the pumpkin adorable. Maybe it’s because I just had pumpkin for dinner two days ago. 2

:-) Tabitha Lynn Ladin replies: "Yes the title was an intended pun2"

Wow! Acrylics are my favourites, but you just made me feel so small and unimportant... 2 I have a looooong way to go.. It’s amazing, really.

:-) Tabitha Lynn Ladin replies: "Thanks, glad you like it. Its funny I still have that unimportant feeling about my art all the time2"
