On behalf of the elfwood community, I bid thee welcome!
Thanks for visiting my gallery; I've enjoyed yours. Love the dragon, and your geisha elf - neat idea. Hope you stick around and keep the updates coming!

I would erase the tree and use only the human to demonstrate the size of the dragon. But if keeping the tree, then I would let it grow straight up instead of letting it tilt to the right, so that it looks like the tree is planted in the ground, not in the dragon.
Ps I like the face of the dragon!

1 Melissa "elf_fu" Pence replies: "Thanks very much! I will attempt to fiddle with it whilst awaiting to submit another ticket! 1"

Welcome, friend 12 I enjoyed your first and last picture most. The dragon was really cool, too, but honestly I would delete the tree in the picture, giving more space to the fine dragon instead. Again, I enjoyed the geisha drawing.

12 Melissa "elf_fu" Pence replies: "Hello Stefan! First: Thank you for dropping by my humble gallery! Second: My goal was to show some sort of size porportion of the dragon. (This image I created for my RPG.) Do you think it should be gone entirely and simply use the human as a way to show scale? Or something better in the background? Double thanks for the suggestion!"

First I wanted to say thank you for the nice comment that you made on my page. Thank you. And secondly I wanted to say well done on capturing the emotion of you subjects in the portraits. I am intrigued by the combination of traditional Japanese motifs along with the traditional "Elven" motifs. An interesting fusion. Combined with the references to this being extra-planetary, I find myself wanting to know more about the back story. Please continue to produce such interesting work.

13 Melissa "elf_fu" Pence replies: "Hello Sean! You are welcome, I enjoy commenting when I get the chance too! Soooo much wonderful pieces of art here at Elfwood! I am very glad you are interested in the idea of Tael'Aen creatures. It is true that, the planet was settled by humans. To make a very long story short: Dwarves, Elves, Fae folk, Dyrads, and other standard "fantasy" races on Tael'Aen evolved from the first human settlers to Tael'Aen due to a plant called Jameson's Ivy. This evolution which would have taken tens of thousands of years was sped to only a few due to the unstable properties of such a plant. Human culture as we know it today, still echos, but none remember whence they came from or why. WOOO . Hi! Talk about a boring long reply hey? I'll post more for Tael'Aen whenever I get the chance. Thank you so very much! "

So! A few years back I got this crazy sounding comment from a Melissa Pence and had no idea for the life of me who that was. Today it clicks. Only took me three years! Anyway, stalking back has commenced - particularly love your work of Suliss, but then I do have something of a soft spot for her!

:-) Melissa "elf_fu" Pence replies: "Duuude, I know! That chick is n--waaaaitaaaminute xD Hi backatcha! It’s all good. I suppose I should have figured back then not so many people knew my real name. Glad to have you stalking! Suliss’ will leave a rather wide, bloody trail to follow 19"
