I think this picture is great! David 'Tainor' Farrey replies: "Thanks for the comment. I'm trying to get better at drawing girls, though. I have this idea for drawing a vampire about to bite this girl, but she has a little surprise for him, you'll see..."

| 24 Dec 2002 | David 'Tainor' Farrey | Loading...OK, the microwave thing is kinda coming back to me. My little sister and I were making treasure maps for no reason whatsoever. I wondered what happens to paper when it's put in the microwave. So I drew a treasure map and decided to find out. I was watching it, and little sparks started to fly from the pencil marks. It started to burn, so I pulled it out and blew out the fire. It made a really cool effect. My little sister thought it was really cool, so she tried it with hers. Nothing happened. We assumed that it was the pencil I was using. We did some experiments by making more maps to find out. Only the ones drawn with that same pencil burned. Then, I decided to draw Hades. I drew a squiggly line around the edge and his name with one pencil, then I drew Hades himself with another pencil. Then I warmed it in the microwave. This is why Hades didn't burn, but the other stuff did. | |

| 3 May 2003 | | Loading...Yay, cool! That's a diggly style, I don't know why, there's just something appealing about it. Especially with the sword, I couldn't draw a sword if my ruddy life depended on it. ^_^ *dances around* | |
| 4 May 2003 | Anonymous | Loading...Wut type of pencil did u use..? David 'Tainor' Farrey replies: "Hmm... I dont really remember. It was pink and had an advertisement on it-it was the only one I could find on the treasure map day. Now I'm guessing it wasn't a plain old #2 pencil. I should experiment with drawing pencils and microwaves sometime to find out." | |

The burnt edges of the paper give it a great touch =) Side note- this guy really has some hair doesn't he!) Anyway, I think this is drawn really well and he's a fascinating character...maybe you want to take your time coloring it though? I think it would look fantastic! But honestly, I LOVE the microwave thing!! LOL
