Catwoman from DC comics is another of my favourites. Before she started wearing mostly leather and a pair of annoying goggles, she had a sleaker and meaner look. This was based on a camouflage outfit she wore only once and early on in her series run. I always thought it suited her best.

This reminds me of Jim Balent's version of Catwoman. Is he still doing that comic? Sadly, I have fallen out of the comic world. I like her hair! Very cool.

i personally love the leather and goggles look. (plus, hello? the goggles have nightvision? what "cat"woman goes around bumping into things in the dark? ^^ ) also some of her older suits have looked so PAINTED ON. i hate that look. it's like, dude...wear some clothes...although it's probably not really leather what she's got now...considering she's an animal-rights activist and all.

still, one of the best catwoman drawings up on elfwood (seriously, if you look at any of the others they basically suck...)

It's funny that you mention the annoying goggles and leather suit thing because I felt the same way after picking up a catwoman comic book after a long hiatus. She looked SO different from what I remembered! And what I remember is almost exactly the Catwoman you drew (except the suit I remember had no camouflage). Jim Balent's style right? I tried to do something similar by keeping the current goggle look but giving her back her good ole sexy bod. Great job capturing the style we love!

Her torso looks a bit short, either that or her legs look too long.
