I have one already finished in 1999 and its not published. Are Sky Elves like the Dark Elves in the forgotten realms? or are they copy righted because rightfully so, I created the Sky Elves.  Michal Talmor replies: "Well, I named the picture 'Sky Elves' because there were pointy-eared delicate people in it and they're sort of flying.It wasn't a reference to anything I've read or some such, you see, so I don't really think copyrights figure into this.If the Elves in the picture resembel your creation - or any other - in any way, it is pure happenstance.Either way, I don't think the name 'Sky Elves' is copyrighted, if to go by the example of 'Elves' in general which has been designated as such a common term that there is no point in copyrighting it... but I could be wrong here." | |
