SciFi and Fantasy Art Out for a Swim by Tamar R. Beecher

A sea dragon, by the name of Cortez, takes a relaxing swim through the ocean. He is not concerned about much of anything and is quite content. He sat as just his head for ages in my sketchbook. I finally sat down and finished him! I used Derwent Watercolour Pencils on 140 lb Cotman Water Colour Paper. I'm liking this watercolor pencil thing a lot. I wasn't a watercolor fan for a long time (me doing it not others artwork). I guess I just had a lousy art teacher when I first learned to use watercolors. I am much happier now that I'm getting the hang of it.
