| 17 Nov 2001 | Anonymous | Loading...Someone obvious has an obsession with that cartoon 'Gargoyles', the characters look almost exactly the same... how about drawing something original..errr... ;8-\ This comment is just about inane enough to be Omar's. Hmm. Anyway. Two things:1)I was actually inspired by a genuine gargoyle statue on a cathedral first, that I saw in art history class. It was unusually female-human-looking, while most gargoyles are more animal or serpent or demon-like; in fact it was very similar to the cartoon versions. When I later saw Demona of the series, I was reminded of that statue. For all I know, the same statue inspired them. 2)Did you look at any of my non-garg art, of which there is plenty? | |
