I painted this picture this summer at my working-desk where I normally model in wax or work with metals. After I sketched a few celtic patterns I thought it would be nice to try something more lively(yes you`re right-there was VERY little to do for me...)-this is what came out of the ballpoint-pen!

This is such an orrigional piece, and i agree, ballpoint pen's are very put down as an artistic tool. It's hard to get percision with a ballpoint, but if you do it correctly, as you did, the outcome can be magnificant! This is a great piece! I love snakes, and like the tongue sticking out! Very beautiful.

Wow, that is beautiful! My totem animal is a snake and for my 25th birthday, which is in March, I have been considering a snake tattoo. However, I have not been able to find a design, or create one of my own, that has spoken to me. I completely understand, appreciate and respect copyright and would never use your design without permission or reimbursement. Please let me know what you think about the possibility of your design becoming a tattoo.
Thank you,
Kate Cover

Hey, I was doing a search for Celtic snake designs and your drawing popped up. Allow me to tell you first how beautiful it is. Secondly, I would love to know which knot work symbols you based it off of and third that I am considering it for a tattoo. Like the above person, I would be happy to compensate you because I understand that your art is you. If you can get back to me.

Thank you,
Karen G.
