This is a commisioned piece, that I did in order to try and get over my HUGE fear of spiders...BUT it didn't happen. I still HATE them, but I'm kinda fond of this picture. so enjoy!...and comment:)

The positioning of his arms with the bow is very well done. I love the way the backgound turned out on this. Not my favorite of the taur series,(lol a spidertaur is rather creepy) but I think you did a great job with the concept for this one.

I am pretty happy with the way this one turned out...and I made a friend of mine hold her arms just right for the drider, i was having problems with that part, and she(foolishly) asked if there was anything she could do to help2 hehe I didn't make her stand too long2

Being the one for whom this was made, I must say that I am quite happy with how it turned out. I've always thought that mammal centauroids were fairly common, almost becoming commonplace. Perhaps you should try more in this vein, although not of crawlies that freak you out. Or maybe generally non-human-sized... Hmmm, a rat centauroid, now that would be freaky...

Eww rataur...that would be kinda interesting to try...I am going to do a few more along these lines...a Scorpiotaur is in the makings...But I am very glad that you approve of this...especially since I did it for you2

I love the way you reinforced the shape of the spider by the shape of the boarder/web around it. It work really well. TY again...yeah, I had fun with the boarder...it looked too plane before with just the molted colors...so I decided that is shoule be kinda web like ^_^ hehe

I'm sorry to be mean. It is not anything about the picture, the pic is lovely. But you guys.... driders are male drow, being punished... not centauroids... >_>;;;

Driders are ANY drow who are cursed by Llolth. After the curse resolves they become genderless,near-mindless slaves of the spider-goddess of the Drow.

Where did you get that bi about them reverting to genderless Drow? I have never seen anything stating that.
