| 12 Jul 2000 | Satansdaughter | Loading...deep...really nice images in this one, the minimalist approach suits the subject well somehow, this evokes so many images and thought for such a small amouint of words! i think this might actually be my favourite. | |

| 8 Dec 2000 | James K Bowers | Loading...Somewhat ashamed that it took me this long to leave a comment for this poem after you mentioned it waaaaaaaaay back on July 17th in a comment you left after reading my "Deathbird's Song"... Well, actually, you left the whole poem there, so I'll still have it even if you eventually remove it from your shelf to make room for something else... Sometimes I wish I could condense some of my writings into such a compact and powerful package... Took me alot more words to convey the same general sentiment about death (although from a different point of reference)... And even though I'm months late in telling you, Tansy, this is a great poem... | |
| 13 Feb 2001 | Jean Decker | Loading...The words (and the imagery they convey) are very good and, as others have observed, Tansy has used so few of them to say so much.
Having said that, I also need to add that the careless use of punctuation and the incorrect use of the apostrophe in "it's" (which should be "its") is a real turnoff to me. This inattention to such important details could easily be the deterrent that keeps this poem from becoming the classic it might otherwise have been. | |
| 12 Nov 2001 | Taz Magpye | Loading...oooh well spotted on the gramma thing In my defence I wrote this when I was 14 and really didn't know any better, but you're right, now that you have pointed it out, it is annoying | |
| 8 Aug 2003 | Kathryn E. Castle | Loading...Oh, that's lovely! Its so short, sweet...I like it a lot! Especially since it doesn't really explain itself. It leaves you to choose your own meaning from it Oooh. | |
| 12 Apr 2004 | Felicor 'Rekesah' Bongolan | Loading...With my mood at this moment, short is very good. Its very compactness drives a power before it. | |
