Dedicated to lost friends lost in redecoration.

Blank faceless walls,
Where the faces
Of my chilhood friends
Hung screaming
in two dimensions

Grim walls
Pockmarked and cratered
Where blue tak hardened by age
has eaten holes in the plaster.

Posters not only friends but memories
A vampire, my first true love,
A demon, avenger and protector.
All named, all loved
Set aside with childish things
Destroyed with my dreams.

16 Aug 2000	Satansdaughter	Loading... yeah, i redecorated my room a few years back and still remember the pain. i hadn't taken anything down for years, quite literally. i think i drew the stuff i had up there in primary school. i wonder if i still have that stuff. i hope so. wouldn't want to lose the companions of so many childhood adventures, dreams, and fantasies...
20 Aug 2000	Wezner	Loading... I cried, almost. I dread the moment when I leave for college and need to take all of the thousands of posters and my drawings and paintings off of my wall. But hey, I'll just be putting them back up on another wall... sometime...

Even stories (no matter how inane) and poems are gathering dust underneath my bed.. It's only lately that i'm learning to burn and let go sniffs
