I just like the variety of blues, greens, blue-greens and yellows go together. The species design is a plus also. I haven't seen half mermaid/eastern dragon/fish things before. The curves are good on the design level, but the upper right corner feels like it's missing a little something. I wouldn't fret about it, though. The only other thing that bothers me is that the perspective seems skewed: his spear is foreshortened one way, yet his body is foreshortened another -- it makes for a confusing visual.
