My saviour

Soaring through the sky,

Touching the clouds with bare hands,

Screaming with joy,

Feeling beautiful freedom.

Carried away on the back of a dragon,

Away from pain and despair,

Away from sorrow and doubts,

Away from a dark future.

Seeing silver oceans glistening in the sun,

Hearing the song of the wind,

Tasting the salt of the sea,

Smelling the ingredients of hope.

Carried away on the back of a guardian,

On the back of a comrade,

On the back of an ally,

On the back of a friend.

And into the sunlit future we soar,

Away from the darkness that had been my life,

Experiencing the good for the first time,

On the back of a dragon.

Groovy first comment, anyways I'm not to keen on happiness but it's still a great poem, and (just my preference) could use a little rhyme, but hey it's your poem right.

:-) Julia Anna Rill replies: "Thank you! yeah, i don't know what was going on with me to write a happy poem... that is really uncommon for me... 10"

I really like this one. If I ever road on a back of a dragon, I think this is how I would feel. It just so good, and I like it so much that I have no words of how to explain how I like this poem. 2

whenever i hear to word saviour, I think of the chili's song (it's my favourite of theirs don't you know). this one has a real spirit to it. it's poetic without being pretensious (can't spell)

1 Julia Anna Rill replies: "well, trust me, not knowing how to spell the word properly i have in mind is a common problem for me...
thanks for the nice words and the comment!"

Oh this one is all about hope and i like it! I know im commenting everywhere but you have given me so many lovely comments and i seeing i am home from overseas its about time i did too! I like your sad themes but its good to know you can write a poem about happiness too! I love the theme of this too... its very well done

:-) Julia Anna Rill replies: "Hey, I don't mind at all that you are commenting on my work!!! Not at all!!! 10

You don't wanna know on what times I write the happy ones and on which the sad ones.... But I still tell you! When I am really really upset and frustrated I write happy poems, to helpme get out of that feelings and to give hope to me too. When I am happy though, I somehow always come up with frustrating and upsetting poems... Well, I don't know why, It is just like that.... And honestly I am happy that I cant look inside my head myself! It could be really disturbing.... 10"

Very nice poem. sort of like a poem between stories. (like between "The Neverending Story," and "The Neverending Story II") upbeat and uplifting.

:-) Julia Anna Rill replies: "Yeah, I know what you mean. I didn't give any informations about the background, hm? Ah well, I guess I wrote this while I was having a story in my head... Thanks for commenting! Man, now I can't stop thinking about what I was thinking about when I wrote this poem..."
