Your light

everything is dark.

there is no hope, no peace.

all alone.

shadows come closer.

you try to run –

but you can’t.

you can’t hide.

they are everywhere.

darkness grows and with it hopelessness.

souls starts screaming,

crying.

is this the end?

you give up.

you can’t fight darkness,

or sorrow or fear.

everything is over.

you want to lay down.

to close your eyes.

you have to rest.

no more fighting.

no more pain.

And suddenly – bright as the sun after a stormy night,

A light rises.

It’s pure, it’s strong, it overcomes everything.

The darkness flees, the shadows give way.

It’s warmth, it’s safety, it’s hope.

In the white light a figure appears.

Wings, protecting and fierce, unfold.

There he stands, to come to your rescue.

The only thing that is powerful enough to fight despair.

It’s the Angel of Hope,

And His name is Love.
