An angel helps you out of you sorrow. Even when you think everything is over and it can only get worse, not better, when you are so desperate that you accept your fate, there will always be someone or something that aves you. you just have to listen.

Your light

everything is dark.

there is no hope, no peace.

all alone.

shadows come closer.

you try to run Ė

but you canít.

you canít hide.

they are everywhere.

darkness grows and with it hopelessness.

souls starts screaming,

is this the end?

you give up.

you canít fight darkness,

or sorrow or fear.

everything is over.

you want to lay down.

to close your eyes.

you have to rest.

no more fighting.

no more pain.

And suddenly Ė bright as the sun after a stormy night,

A light rises.

Itís pure, itís strong, it overcomes everything.

The darkness flees, the shadows give way.

Itís warmth, itís safety, itís hope.

In the white light a figure appears.

Wings, protecting and fierce, unfold.

There he stands, to come to your rescue.

The only thing that is powerful enough to fight despair.

Itís the Angel of Hope,

And His name is Love.

For my taste this is a little too straightforward and romantic, not enough subtlety. But the last line, as so often, is perfect.

:-) Julia Anna Rill replies: "thanks!!!"

YAY! I luf this one too 10 I guess this is really inspiring @_@ (dunno if that's a good thing, I wil have even less time to comment on your stuff 12
Anyways, I really like the way you wrote this, it doesn't rhyme, but, who cares? It's the idea, the feelings you describe, right? (I could go on for hourslike this, but i won't bother you any longer... 12
I can't do anything but agree, that this is, once again, a wonderful piece of writing (do I say that correct? @_@)
^_^ I luf it

BTW, I will have to admit, this is a style I have used many, many times before, though your work is better and I'll never be as good as you... T_T

:-) Julia Anna Rill replies: "being inspired never i a bad thing, is it? well, unless you get so inspired, that you dont know what to write anymore... thats nasty than. trust me, i know just too good!!! 10"

I like how you took this and didn't just let it sit in feelings of despair and you took it and gave it hope great poem.

WOW... I could see and feel everything that was happening in the poem. Sounds just a touch like a poem I wrote about two weeks after my father died...this is just wonderful!!

:-) Julia Anna Rill replies: "Thank you!"

I really liked this one. The light/darkness contrast really brings the idea of hope shining in despair. Really well done.

:-) Julia Anna Rill replies: "Thanks a lot!"

God's angels are actually always there... Sometimes we need a little helping to see them, though.
Nice poem, flowing and not choppy (which sometimes happens when writing the rythimic prose sort of style).

:-) Julia Anna Rill replies: "Thanks for your comment!I guess right now those angels need to get a bit more visible to me... Somehow I can't see them anymore. But it is good to know that they are there, even if they won't show."
