SciFi and Fantasy Art Judge, Jury, Executioner: The Order of the Awampas by Robert H. N´Zengou-Tayo

The Order of the Awampas is a secluded order located in the middle of the Wein, a harsh desert dominating the larger part of the southern continent, Tyr. It is suspected they worship caiesh'das gods. Mayhaps all three hundred, though it would be hard to prove it. The order is divided in two. The Clerics are healers and scholars, while Inquisitors are warrior-priests responsible for the upkeeping of the law throughout the barbaric and violent continent. Here, we witness a 'trial' in session. Both sides of the order are represented and each have a role. The poor miscreant has confessed his larceny under the threat of the Inquiry and waits for the usually benevolent cleric to give verdict. What will be the punishment? But these holy men have been forged under the heat of violence. Proof, the Inquisitor has unsheathed the weapon of execution, the Karani. Case closed!
