SciFi and Fantasy Art Centaur Minstrel by Valerie A. Ryan


	This picture was meant to feel very bleak and earthy. The centaur herself is very old lineart but it was just colored recently. I can see a few of the flaws mainly in the size of her head to body ratio and her arms. I've always loved this peice, but would also love to see where others think I can improve as well.

As a constructive critism I'd like to say that I think I like this piece so much better than your others because the eys are closed. I do not mind manga eyes but feel they can become formulaic. As you work more I suggest you experiment with the way you draw open eyes. You obviously have everything else down to a beautiful "T." Valerie A.
