SciFi and Fantasy Art Carnival Plum by Tamara C. Johnson

This portrait was completed at RISD in 1995. My instructor suggested it as an outside of class assignment. Very glad he did, because it made me realize the lengths I'd go to to get the picture finished. I took off on a Saturday by bus and went half way across the state to get the mask I used as a prop. Now Rhode Island is tiny, granted, but it was an adventure just the same. I am a country gal after all, and I ended up lost in two separate towns after the dark by getting on the wrong bus. It's funny now.

HI Tamara, This is a great pic - you have a wonderful style very classic- I don't understand why this picture has a parental warning of 3 of 4 when I open it there is nothing dirty about her. Tamara C. Johnson replies: "I have no idea why that is there; it just showed up. shrug I'm sure it's something I did, but I don't know what...and Thank you, very much"
